It's six o'clock Friday night. So what're you going to do? Eat dinner and maybe hang out with Ronnie ... again. The phone rings and it's Ronnie calling. He's heard about a big party happening a few blocks away. He plays floor hockey with this kid in Grade 10, Jason, and it turns out Jason's parents are away for the weekend. Jason's older brother, Kevin, is throwing a huge bash. Ronnie suggests that this is your chance to make a big impression and get known at school. He's got $25 to bring and you've also saved $25 because you never know.
You're a little nervous about going to a party with older students, but Ronnie's right; this is your chance. You tell Ronnie to come over to your house, and you'll both go together. As Ronnie's riding his bike over, you realize that you need to figure out what to tell your dad. You've never really been to a big party before. Will he let you go? Maybe you should tell him you're just going out for something to eat and a late movie.
