You watch Ryan funnel a couple of beers. You hope they don't pick you to go next. It would be so embarrassing having everyone watch you. There are so many people gathered around that you decide to slip out of the room to go somewhere less crowded, but there are people everywhere. As you walk out, you look back and see him flirting with another girl! You are really hurt - and she's so pretty. You walk out to the pool area, and finally sit down by the pool, thinking about how boring you are. That is probably why Ryan is talking to another girl. You fight back tears. You feel you are not good enough.

A guy sits down beside you. He must not go to your school because you don't recognize him. He asks you what's wrong, and you shrug. The guy asks if you'd like a drink. You

Accept the vodka and orange juice. He seems nice, and you don't want to make him mad.

Tell him you just want to stick with the beer. You have only had a couple of sips, but know you will be better off that way.
