Cannabis affects people differently. The effects you feel could be very different from how your friend is affected by the drug. Cannabis can also affect you differently from one use to another. You might:
- be feeling quiet and reflective, very relaxed, sometimes drowsy
- have distorted judgment of distances
- have a slowed sense of time passing
- have an impaired sense of balance
- be feeling more outgoing and talkative than usual, laughing more, less inhibited
- have an increased heart rate and blood pressure
- be feeling that you have keener senses such as hearing and vision
- be feeling anxious and panicky
- have red eyes and a huge appetite (called "the munchies"), dry mouth/throat.
